My name is Lisa A. Walker, and I was born a music lover.
It began when I was a toddler, watching and mimicking my Dad on the piano. Playing instruments through grade school and high school. Camping out for Bruce Springsteen tickets as a young teenager, and then attending just about every live show I could — and then some.
Even today, I continue to seek out live music. And now that I work as a staffer at National Geographic and have developed a real passion for photography, it only seems logical to try and combine the two.
So here’s my concert photography in the making, Shots from the Dark. And some from the light. And quite possibly a few other observations while I am behind the lens.
